PESGB – Edinburgh is the local branch of the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain.
We host a seminar series and branch conferences — See the Sidebar for Upcoming Events.
We invite international and UK scholars to come to speak on a wide-range of topics relating to philosophy of education, including political science, sociology, history, digital education, social policy and other fields. To find out more, take a look at past and future events.
The lectures in our Seminar series are free and open to the public. Our Branch conferences are held over 1-2 days and usually cost a nominal fee to attend.
Events are held at the University of Edinburgh.
